SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

Created in Christ. Designed for God's Purpose.

Ephesians 2:10

Our Church Family is deeply committed to the inclusion, integration, and flourishing of people with special needs within the life of our church.

1. High-Quality Care. We partner with you in your child’s discipleship journey while providing high-quality care by trained volunteers. We are grateful for our ministry team that includes Special Education Educators, Speech Pathologists, and other specialized professionals.

2. Individualized Spiritual Plan (ISP). Together we curate an ISP that incorporates goals and accommodations to support teaching the Gospel in the most appropriate way for your child. We have self-contained and fully inclusive options.

3. Sensory-Friendly Environment. Not only are the lessons multi-sensory based, but we also have a dedicated Sensory Room comprised with fun and interactive ways to proactively support proprioceptive, vestibular, auditory, visual, and tactile regulation. Additionally, a calming corner provides a peaceful place to regulate.

4. Safety and Dignity. From the moment you arrive on our campus to your departure we are committed to the safety and dignity of your child. We have a dedicated entrance that provides a seamless transition experience. Classrooms have safety locks and door chimes.

5. Disability Theology. We believe all people were made in the image of God and therefore have inherent value and worth (Gen. 1:26-28; Psalm 8:3-6). We believe all people were fearfully and wonderfully made by God (Psalm 139:13-16). We believe all people were created in Christ and designed for God’s good purposes (Eph 2:10).
