What Is Worship?
  • At First we believe we were created for God’s pleasure, and the way we bring God pleasure is to worship Him.  
  • We seek to praise God for what He has done, what He is doing and what He will do; thanking Him for His actions in our lives. 
  • We seek to worship God for who He is; as He reveals Himself to us, we respond to Him with adoration and praise.     
  • Our worship services are characterized by both reverence and joy. We revere God because He is holy, powerful and just.  We approach Him with joy because He is good, loving and merciful. 
  • We encourage our members to respond to God with their whole being in worship; intellectually, emotionally, and even physically.
To be in harmony together with the Holy Spirit, and to Engage Him in worship.

We have several ways for you to serve in your area of giftedness:

Worship Choir
This is a fun, very special group of people who are passionate about worship.  These folks, high school age and older, love to worship the Lord and invite the congregation to do the same. No auditions are required, just come on to rehearsal Wednesday at 6:30pm.  Childcare and children's activities are available during rehearsal time. The Worship Choir will have rehearsals and lead in worship every Sunday during the school year. For more information about our choir contact David Peyton.

Praise Team

The Praise Team is a dedicated group of front line vocalists that lead in worship weekly. This group is challenged musically and spiritually each week during 2 separate rehearsals. Praise Band 
The Praise Band is made up of musicians that are enthusiastic about playing for the Lord. This is a highly gifted group of musicians who are obediently taking the talent the Lord has given them, multiplying it, and returning it to God.  If you are an experienced musician and want to use your gifts to serve the Lord, please see our Platform Evaluation Process here . Tech Team
The Tech Team holds a special place in our hearts. They help everything come together as they manage lights, sound, video and such. If you are interested in finding out more about serving in this area contact Bill Galloway.
