Dr. Johnny Dickerson, Senior Pastor • email Pastor Johnny has served as Senior Pastor here since 2005. His passion for God's Word is demonstrated weekly through his preaching and teaching. He will readily tell anyone that First Baptist Mansfield is the greatest church in America. He has earned his Masters of Arts degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and his Doctor of Ministry from Divinity University. Johnny and his wife Jeanette, who serves as the Women's Ministry Director for Alpha International Ministries, have three children: Joshua, Jessica & Jacob. |

Brian Brooks, Student Pastor • email Brian joined the staff at First Mansfield as our Student Pastor in March of 2010. He has been in Student Ministry since 1996 and has served at churches in Texas, Georgia, and Arkansas. Brian has a passion to see students make a difference by changing the world around them for the glory of God. He has a Bachelor's Degree from TCU (where he also played football), a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary, and is currently working on his Doctorate of Education Ministries at Southwestern with an anticipated completion date of 2013. Brian and his wife Julie have been married since 1996 and have three boys: Mason, Carson and Garrett. |  |
Marla Coolidge, Director of Preschool Ministries • email As Director of Preschool Ministries, it is Marla's desire to provide young families with everything they need to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. And of course, that every child would know Jesus as Savior and Best Friend. Marla has been working in children's ministry since she was a teenager and has been on staff at three churches before coming to First Mansfield. Marla's hope is to see the preschool ministry and Mother's Day Out programs of First Mansfield reach out to the young families in our community and to touch the lives of these precious ones and their parents. Marla and her husband Steve have two grown sons, Colin and Cory, one daughter-in-law, Rebecca and a precious granddaughter, Grayce. |  |
Larry Dean, Associate Pastor • email Larry began his minstry here at First Mansfield as Youth & Recreation Minister in 1994. In 2003 he stepped into his new role in which he oversees adult discipleship programs like Life Groups and New Member Ministries that help newcomers Discover, Connect and Belong. He has also served churches in Kansas and Texas. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas and a Master of Arts in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Larry and his wife Amy have three children: Jacob, Haleigh & Caleb. |  |
Don Miller, Executive Pastor/ Pastor to Older Adults • email Don has been on the ministerial staff at First Mansfield since 1977. For 25 years, Don faithfully served as the Minister of Education. In April of 2005 he began serving our church in his new role of Executive Pastor. His responsibilities now include finances, administration, and supervision of all employees and ministerial staff under the Senior Pastor. He continues educational duties with the Older Adults in our church family. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&I University in Corpus Christi and a Master of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Don and his wife Kathi have two children: Melanie and David and a daughter-in-law, Desiree. |  |
Dr. James Moore, Pastor Emeritus • email Dr. Moore served as Senior Pastor of First Mansfield for 28 years, retiring in 2002. Dr. Moore now serves as our Pastor Emeritus which is a title bestowed upon him after many years of dedicated and honorable service to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are grateful for Dr. Moore's continued leadership and counsel. Dr. Moore continues to enjoy serving the Lord by preaching at churches throughout the state and does counseling from the First Mansfield office. Dr. Moore and his wife Shirley have two grown children and three beautiful granddaughters that they are enjoying more since their retirement from full time ministry. |  |
David Peyton, Worship Pastor • email David attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1997-2000. He served as Minister of Music and Youth for 3 years, and then as Minister of Music for another 3 1/2 years before coming to First Mansfield. David has a passion for worship and a vision to see God's people worship the Lord as one heart and one voice, bringing glory to Him. David and his wife Wendy have five children: Hannah, MarieAnge, Jameson, Abigail, and Caleb. |  |
Derinda Williams, Director of Children's Ministries • email Derinda joined the First Mansfield staff in January 2007, but she has been a lay leader in children’s ministry here for more than 20 years. Derinda has a genuine passion to lead children into a true understanding of who God is, to experience His presence, to know His purpose for their lives and to help them realize the need to share His love with others. Derinda and her husband Kenny have two daughters: Kendra and Kammie. |  |
| David Miller, Preteens/Upward Sports • email David grew up at First Mansfield and surrendered to ministry at the age of 17. After graduating from Howard Payne University with a B.A. in Christian Studies, he returned to First Mansfield in January 2007 to become our Minister to Preteens as he attends Southwestern Seminary. He drinks a lot of coffee, plays a little soccer and hangs out with his wife Desiree and his dog Molly. He, his wife and dog live in Mansfield. |  |
